Springer Residence

Located on a corner lot near Kitsilano Beach, the design of this house integrates landscape and building seamlessly in order to help address the private / public issue which comes from being located adjacent to a public park. The single family residence elegantly combines a more solid façade along the main street while using glazing along the courtyard and garden edges to bring the light and sea side views into the space. Walls are positioned to provide opportunities to feature the Owner’s vast art collection, while the heart of a gourmet is at the basis for the design of the custom epicurean kitchen.
